Frequently asked

Does LeadLook read the content of our emails?
No. LeadLook only processes metadata: who sent the email, who received it, when, and the subject line. Email body content is never read, stored, or transmitted. This is enforced at the API level, GDPR compliance is built into the architecture by design.
What does IT need to do to get us set up?
One click. Your IT admin approves LeadLook's permissions in Microsoft's standard OAuth consent screen, the same screen used by thousands of enterprise apps. No Azure Portal configuration, no PowerShell, no Exchange settings. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Do salespeople need to change how they work?
Not at all. Salespeople continue using Outlook exactly as they do today. LeadLook operates silently in the background and captures outbound emails automatically. There's no new interface for them to learn, no plugin to install, and nothing to click.
Which CRMs and lead sources does LeadLook support?
LeadLook currently supports HubSpot natively, with Salesforce on the roadmap. Leads can originate from any source, website forms, WordPress, Smart365, ad platforms, manual import, as long as the contact exists in your connected CRM lead list. The matching is done against your CRM contact records, not the lead source.
What happens if a salesperson emails a contact who isn't in the lead list?
Nothing is logged. LeadLook only captures and processes emails sent to contacts who are on the lead list you've configured. Emails to other recipients are ignored entirely and never stored.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from your account settings. You can also export all your data before leaving, GDPR Article 17 compliance is built in.
